Welcome to King's Noodle Restaurant

King's Noodle Restaurant in Toronto, offers authentic Cantonese fast food with a focus on HK-style noodles. The noodles are perfectly textured, the soup rich with dried shrimp flavor. The environment exudes a Chinatown feel, with older patrons leisurely enjoying their meals. The roast duck is a standout dish, tender and flavorful, while the Chinese donuts are fresh and flaky. Legit HK-style noodles - I'm lovin' it! This is Cantonese fast food but 10000x better. Seemingly simple yet so good. They are the masters of the craft, indeed. The noodles were perfectly textured, crunchy, and bouncy. The soup was made according to HK standards - the proper way with dried shrimp flavor. It was rich and strongly flavored that way. According to the HK expert, mom, that is the proper and legit way. 100% approved. The price is right on point for a quick, simple meal. The waitress was straightforward, and the tea is not an extra charge. Just be careful as the tea is super, super hot. The noodle shop is my cup of tea as I'm familiar with places like this. I love it. It is the Chinatown feel. Lots of older folk eating there and not in a rush. They're reading the newspaper or chatting away. So don't be too worried if it's not the cleanest place as everything else more than makes up for it. The food is legit; the environment is legit. Check, and check.

I always go there for the most authentic Chinese food. It's not Chinese-American, but genuine cuisine. The bowl of chicken corn soup is a meal in itself. You also get a native experience when seated. If there are no free tables, you'll be seated anywhere they can find room, even with perfect strangers. And you won't find a fork anywhere. They don't cater to people who don't know how an actual Chinese restaurant functions.

Food was great and staff were nice. CASH ONLY! 1.1 Cad : 1 USD versus the actual conversion rate. At the time we just went "ok" and added a few extra dollars to make sure we included tip..but I wonder if they do this lower conversion to include tip? Shrugs but will come back next time we visit Toronto.

Driving By Spadina ... there's tons of goodies everywhere how can you pick one place when everything and everywhere looks so delicious!! So many authentic asian dishes everywhere as we were in the Mecca of Chinatown Toronto. This place caught our eyes in particular why you may ask? They have their ducks hanging out the window display which is usually what trips me and my husband!!! We also saw lots of locals enjoying their meals here!! So we decided ok that's it that's the one! Service: very quick and efficient.. It was pretty decent I'd say but not over the top friendly. They make you pay Cash only ** which is not the best when you travel they force you to go to their ATM machine if you have no cash. Pretty annoying to say the least. It's not cheap either came down to 60 $ ish for everything. Around 20$ per dish We obviously got some peeking duck and bbq pork To stay a lil healthy we also got some mixed vegetables. We mainly wanted Chop suey, I guess they misunderstood as they gave us a mixture of veggies and not much bean sprouts.. only complaint The chineese donuts where amazingly fresh, airy, and flakyy tasted exactly how I remembered from this one place in Montreal The duck 5+++++++ fresh and deelish it was soo tender and just ready to be devoured I enjoyed it so much definitely recommend!! The BBQ pork was good slightly overcooked but still tons of flavour .. maybe will skip the pork next time Overall, the duck was the highlight and that's what we came here for! Definitely worth trying the duck and the desert bread was SOOOO GOOD Id skip the pork and the veggies but that's your call Cheers
